Traffic Safety and Crash Data
2025 Local Roadway Safety Program
TCC staff recently completed a comprehensive evaluation on local roadway safety hot spots for all of Clark County and the city of Springfield. Data for this document was collected from the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Ohio Department of Public Safety and represents a three-year period from 2022-2024.
Non-freeway intersections were ranked on both the urban and rural local roadway system using a method that accounted for number, type, and severity of crashes over the three year period.
2025 Local Roadway Safety Program
With the completion of the hot spot ranking, TCC staff will continue working with local and state officials on monitoring recently completed engineering countermeasures, and to study and suggest new engineering countermeasures. This document is expected to be updated biennially as new crash data becomes available to track the progress of our local safety initiative.
Crash Analysis Sheets
Below are crash analysis sheets that have been completed for locations that have received safety funding in the Clark County-Springfield area. This is an opportunity to track the crash data pre- and post-construction to see the trends and also take note if there has been any improvements made since construction has been completed. The sheets will be continually updated and new projects will be added that are awarded safety funding.
